Good Works Quarterly Spotlight

The Thoroughbred Chapter of HOKC, Inc. is proud to support the important work of Sisters Road to Freedom, Inc. in Lexington, Kentucky.

As part of our ongoing commitment to serving worthy nonprofit organizations throughout Central Kentucky, members of our Chapter recently donated more than 30 pounds of nonperishable food items, a variety of essential hygiene products, and a brand-new 14-cubic-foot deep freezer to assist the organization in meeting the needs of the individuals and families they serve.

We recognize and appreciate the vital role Sisters Road to Freedom plays in our community, and we are honored to contribute to their mission. This donation reflects the values of the Thoroughbred Chapter and our dedication to connecting Colonels, supporting nonprofits, and strengthening our communities through service, fellowship, and charitable action.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our members and supporters whose generosity makes these community partnerships possible. Together, we continue to make a meaningful difference across the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

This year and throughout 2027, our Colonels are committed to volunteering on the third Sunday of each month, and we welcome all who wish to join us in giving back to the community. We are seeking volunteers to ensure we can continue supporting this effort. You may sign up for one Sunday or as many as you prefer. Each service date requires six volunteers.
