Join in with other Colonels as chapter members serve breakfast at The Hope Center every third Sunday of each month in 2026 and 2027. There will be (6) spots available on each of these dates and you may secure yours at the link below.

A request for volunteers has been made by Lady Veterans 

Connect, 11400 Irvine Road, Winchester, KY. They are a 

non-profit group dedicated to supporting female veterans 

with housing and resources. 

On Saturday, August 1, 2026, Lady Veterans Connect is 

having a yard sale. This is a big event for them. They 

expect between 300-400 people to come. They need 

assistance helping customers and possibly preparing 

lunches. They have three different areas where

customers can shop: Anna’s Closet, the gym, and the 

blue building where they have furniture. The yard sale is 

from 8 AM to 1 PM but they usually have customers until 

2 PM. 

The address is 11400 Irvine Road, Winchester, KY. I 

would suggest we car pool. We could meet at Lowe’s, 

2300 Grey Lag Way which is almost at the the intersection 

of Winchester Road and I -75. From that location, it 

would take 25-30 minutes to arrive at our destination. 

Leave Lowe’s at 7:15 AM.
